WRENCH & RIDE: YOUTH POWERSPORTS TRAINING

Fueling the Next Generation of Mechanics and Riders.

Program Overview

Whether it’s the roar of an engine or the satisfaction of a perfectly tuned carburetor, our program gives youth the hands-on experience they need to master the world of powersports. From the workshop to the trail, we train the next generation to ride with skill and repair with precision.

What We Do

Our program is split into two core tracks, ensuring a well-rounded education in everything “power”:

1. Precision Mechanics (The Repair Track)

We take the mystery out of the machine. Students get their hands dirty in a “live shop” environment, learning the inner workings of two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
  • Engine Overhaul: Disassemble, measure, and reassemble small engines to understand how they breathe and fire.
  • System Diagnostics: Master the “puzzle” of troubleshooting electrical systems, fuel management, and ignition timing.
  • Chassis & Suspension: Learn to align wheels, service brakes, and tune suspension for a smoother, safer ride.
  • Fabrication Basics: Intro to welding (MIG and Stick) to repair frames and custom-fit parts.

2. Tactical Operation & (The Riding Track)

Riding a powersport vehicle is about more than just hitting the throttle; it’s about control, safety, and respect for the machine.
  • Safety First: We follow the “Golden Rules,” including proper gear (helmets, goggles, boots) and risk management.
  • Terrain Mastery: Specialized training for climbing hills, navigating obstacles, and maintaining balance during sharp turns.
  • Pre-Ride Inspections: Training students to spot a mechanical failure before they hit the trail, ensuring the vehicle is always “ride-ready”.

Why Join Our Group?

It’s about more than just machines. Our students walk away with:
  • Confidence: The “I can fix this” mentality that translates to every area of life.
  • Problem-Solving: Developing the grit and resilience needed to troubleshoot a stubborn engine until it starts.
  • Career Foundation: Gaining the technical skills required for entry-level technician roles or specialized trade schools.
  • Mentorship: Working in small groups with expert instructors who are passionate about both machines and youth development.
